Railways

  • Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society Index Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad operated by the Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society and the Leatherstocking Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society provides a scenic 16-mile Park & Ride for pleasure or to avoid the Cooperstown Parking Crunch. Two trains daily from Milford to Cooperstown and return, visitors park in Milford, ride to Cooperstown, and return later. In Cooperstown visitors can ride the trolley bus system throughout the village to all attractions (for an additional fee).
