Ntwala Island Lodge, Namibia
Previous Page
Ntwala Island Lodge is situated in Namibia on an unusual group of islands
within the Mambova rapids of the Zambezi River, where it meets the Chobe River.
These small islands offer complete exclusivity and isolation, boasting an
amazingly rich bio diversity and overall tropical feel with palm trees and white
sands.
The lodge is ultra luxurious and only caters to eight guests at a time (four
suites). This ensures a high degree of personalized service and falls in line
with our low impact tourism policy. Guest choice, comfort and privacy are
paramount. Activities at Ntwala will be predominantly water borne and privately
guided. The close and convenient proximity to Chobe National Park ensures guests
will have exclusivity and a comprehensive wildlife experience. Each suite will
have a boat and guide to ensure individual choice, flexibility and privacy.
Our staff are handpicked from local communities. Individuals are already in
training, as part of our ongoing commitment to local upliftment and empowerment.
Ntwala Island Lodge has four large, suite styled rooms, each with private
plunge pools, en suite facilities with a bath in the atrium, indoor and outdoor
showers, his & hers basins and a private sala over the water.
In addition to the indoor/outdoor lounge and dining facilities with an open
fireplace, the main complex has a sunken theatre style kitchen for chef
interaction and a walk-in wine cellar.
