Cousine Island in the Seychelles is a conservation success story, offering a
unique nature experience in comfort and luxury. Inhabited only by indigenous
species, this private nature reserve is a nesting haven for sea turtles and a
variety of land and sea birds.
Cousine Island offers only 4 luxury villas nestled amongst the lush
vegetation, each with views of Cousine's sugar-white beach and the
neighbouring islands Cousin, Aride and Praslin, incorporating all the
comforts required for a luxurious stay and relaxing stay.
Each villa has a spacious bathroom with his/her shower and Jacuzzi; large
bedroom overlooking the sea; lounge/dining room equipped with satellite TV, VCR,
DVD player and sound system; kitchenette with ice machine, mini-bar and tea &
coffee. All villas also include a front and rear outside shower. The villas are
situated only 30 metres from the beach, each with its own front entrance.
Only four couples are allowed on the island at one time, ensuring privacy,
isolation and a feeling of ownership. The Pavilion features great views, a bar,
pool, library, lounge and airy dining area offering delicious Creole and
international cuisine. The island is also available for exclusive use.
This island paradise allows guests to enjoy the sort of peace and tranquility
experienced only before humans walked the earth, but includes every modern
comfort. Restoration of the woodland, reintroduction of rare native species and
ecological monitoring are seen as crucial activities which go hand in hand with
ensuring excellent levels of service offered to guests.
