The serenity and seclusion of uncrowded Nootka Island Lodge on Nootka Island,
British Columbia, provides a paradise for fishing, kayaking, hiking, whale
watching and touring!
Discovered by Captain Cook in 1778, this area abounds with the
beginnings of British Columbia. Nootka is located at the mouth of Nootka
Sound just 74 air miles west of Campbell River.
Nootka Island is unsurpassed in mountain scenery, beauty, and wildlife. You
can retrace the footsteps of BC's early explorers, such as Captain Cook and
Captain Bligh, on the beautiful pebble beach at Friendly Cove. Visit the
Governor General Totem and a quaint church, all only minutes from Nootka Island
Lodge.
Nootka Island Lodge offers comfortable rooms, twin and single. The plumbing
is indoors with showers. Dining is family style and we'll cook your catch if you
so desire.
Your Trip Includes:
Minimum 8 hours guided fishing per day. All gear supplied, including
Mustang rain gear and boots. Care of fish. 15.6 ft. Sorenson boats with 45 hp
Johnson engines.
What to Bring:
Keep your luggage to a minimum. (25lbs) by air. Soft sided luggage
only. B.Y.O.B., please.
