Turneffe Island Lodge is a 14-acre private island 30 miles off the coast of
Belize. We offer 7-night (Saturday to Saturday), 4-night (Saturday to
Wednesday), and 3-night (Wednesday to Saturday) all-inclusive packages for
diving, fishing and snorkelling.
Packages include airport transfers, deluxe lodge
accommodations, all meals, scheduled activities, and taxes. Upgrades to
our luxurious private cabanas are also available. All accommodations are
located on our white sand beach and include air conditioning, ceiling
fans, en suite baths and spectacular ocean views.
Belize Information: Entry Requirements - A Passport / Visa is required
for all visitors to Belize and must be valid for the duration of your stay.
Belize Departure Tax - A $35.00 US per person (cash) Belize departure
tax will be collected at the airport.
Flights Times - Please arrive by 4:00 pm and depart no earlier than
11:00 am
Arrival by Air - A Turneffe Island Lodge representative will meet you
as you exit the airport
Arrival by Land - If you are already in Belize, meet us at the
Princess Marina by 2:00 pm
Boat Transfer - The Island is 30 miles from Belize. It takes about an
hour and 15 minutes to get to the island. Depending on guest arrival times, the
boat will leave between 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
Luggage - Your luggage may arrive on the island a couple of hours
after you have. Please pack a small bag with your most important items to carry
with you on the transfer boat.
Emergency: Trip Delay - If your trip is delayed for any reason, please
notify the island as soon as possible. You are responsible for any additional
costs (special transfers) incurred due to a trip delay.
On the Island: Rooms - All rooms are air-conditioned. There are no
phones or televisions in the rooms.
Phone Calls - International calls may be placed from the office. There
is a $5.00 US service fee (per call) and you will need your international
calling card for the long distance charges. There is also access to email
accounts in the office.
Meals - Three delicious meals are served family style at set times in
the dining room. Snacks and appetizers are offered throughout the day.
Water - The water in the kitchen and dining room is U.V. sterilized.
Electricity - The lodge has 110 Volt A.C. power, the same as the U.S.
The Bar - Your bar tab is not included in your package. Soda’s are
considered part of the bar tab. It is illegal to bring your own alcohol to the
island.
Gift Shop - There is a small gift shop with souvenirs, postcards and a
limited supply of sundry items.
Attire: The attire on the island is casual. We ask that you wear shoes
and cover-ups at mealtimes.
Check-out - All charges to your account will be settled the day prior
to your departure. Any purchases after you account has been settled can be paid
for in cash.
Payment - Visa ~ MasterCard ~ Discover ~ Traveller’s Cheque’s ~
Cash. We do not accept American Express on the island.
Medical Care - There are no medical facilities or personnel on the
island. The nearest medical facility is located 30 miles away in Belize City.
Minimum transfer time is at least 2 hours.
Transfer Days - Transfers from Belize City to the island are provided
on Saturdays and Wednesdays. All departures must occur on Saturdays or
Wednesdays – Sunday departures are not available.
Special Transfers - Transfers on alternate days cost between $350.00
and $650.00 USD.
Airline Reservations - We can provide flight arrangements. There is a
$20.00 per person ticketing fee.
Diving - There are 3 scheduled dives on Sunday - Thursday and 2 dives
on Friday morning. A night dive is scheduled for Thursday (weather permitting).
Lighthouse Reef & the Blue Hole - This is a full day trip scheduled
for Tuesday. The day trip includes lunch on Half Moon Caye beach and a visit to
the Red Footed Booby Sanctuary (weather permitting).
Fishing - Fishing hours are from 8:00am - 5:00pm Sunday - Friday.
Snorkelling - Two guided snorkel trips are scheduled daily Sunday -
Friday.
Other Activities - Volleyball ~ Sailboat ~ Kayaks ~ Fresh Water Pool ~
Available to all guests.
*No refunds are given for unused portions of packages and no substitutions
can be made between packages.

in Belize City if you would like to come in the day before or stay a day later:
