Experience the wild beauty of Ireland on Horse Island situated off the south west coast of the mainland.
Surrounding:
Although located in one of the northern regions of Europe, this private island sheltered from mass tourism provides a healthy climate for every season and is surrounded by clear clean waters warmed by the Gulf Stream. The islands air is as pure and fresh as that of many well known climatic health resorts, enriched with salt. Sandy bays suitable for swimming and bizarre cliff formations line the coastline in contrast to the islands vast meadows. Relicts of thousands of years old Celtic settlements can be found on Horse Island.

Guests stay in three natural stone homes which have ultramodern and luxurious white furnishings. The spacious homes each have two separate bedrooms with exquisite dreamboat, beds built in the shape of fishing boats. All have two baths, a sauna, jacuzzi (with adjacent winecooler!), shower, kitchen, laundry, a wood and peat fire, TV and mobile phone. A fax machine is available for use at the managers office.
Dining:
Self-catering with full kitchen facilities provided. Have a barbecue on the beach, collect fresh mussels off the north east beach at low tide (depending on the season), smoke your own freshly caught fish or learn to bake your own bread in the old bakery on the island. There are also various perfect settings for a great picnic with a good bottle of wine. Shop for groceries in the town of Skul on the mainland. You can order daily all food you would like to have. It will be bought for you by the island staff. A chef can be provided on request to prepare a romantic candlelight dinner. If you wish to dine in a resturant, the ferry can take you to the neighboring island.
Activities & daytrips:
Swimming, fishing, fitness house with a fully qualified instructor, tennis court, golf course on mainland, daily boat trip to the nearby town of Skul on the mainland or enjoy a natural massage completely free of charge under the islands own natural massage waterfall nestled between the cliffs.
