Located amongst the Mamanuca Islands, Malolo Island Resort is just 25
kilometres (16 miles) west of Fiji's Nadi International Airport. Malolo Island
is over 2000 acres in size, ensuring its guests plenty of privacy.
Accommodations
On Malolo Island Fiji you will find plantation style air-conditioned
accommodations reminiscent of the colonial era with high vaulted
ceilings providing a feeling of spaciousness and rustic elegance. Their
bures are set amongst lush tropical gardens, a few lazy steps from the
Pacific Ocean and comprise of three different categories as follows:
Oceanview Bure
With 30 Oceanview Bures each is 33 sq metres with 14 sq metre verandahs and
have 1 x king size bed and two single beds. All have air-conditioning, fridge,
drip filter coffee machine and tea making facilities, separate bathrooms,
overhead fans and spacious verandahs.
Deluxe Oceanview Bure
With 18 Deluxe Oceanview Bures each is 50 sq metres with 14 sq metre
verandahs and have 1 x king size bed in a separate bedroom and two single beds
in the spacious living area. All have air-conditioning, fridge, drip filter
coffee machine and tea making facilities, separate bathrooms, overhead fans and
spacious verandahs.
Family Bure
With only one Family Bure it is 100sq metres with a 20sq metre verandah. It
comprises of 2 bedrooms, each with a king sized bed, one ensuite and one main
bathroom. There are 4 single beds located in the spacious living area and with
an elevated location this bure has a fantastic view of the ocean. This bure is
fully airconditioned with fridge, drip filter coffee machine and tea making
facilities and overhead fans.
Dining
Malolo features a fantastic variety of menus and dining locations. From
their selection of bars and restaurants you can enjoy a casual snack by the
beach or experience a tantalizing dinner amongst the coconut palms.
Beach Bar
Open morning till evening the Beach Bar offers casual beachside dining for
lunch & dinner including an all day snack menu and evening cocktail hour with
reduced price drinks and the sounds of the Malolo Serenaders.
Terrace Restaurant
Centrally located with views across the resort swimming pools and lush
gardens, the Terrace Restaurant offers all day al fresco dining with a full
buffet breakfast each morning and a la carte lunch and dinner (including
children's menus).
Tree Tops Restaurant
Set above the Terrace Restaurant and below a canopy of trees and the Fijian
sky Treetops Restaurant offers a relaxed and intimate dining experience for
adults only. Their acclaimed Executive Chef offers a menu of Pacific Rim cuisine
with local Pacific Island influences and produce. The menu changes daily and
reservations are essential.
What about kids?
- Supervised Kids Club is complimentary strictly to children 4 to 12 years
old. Hours include:
9.00am to 12.00 noon (day activities)
1.30pm to 4.30pm (afternoon activities)
5.30pm to 7.00pm (supervised dinner)
7.00pm to 9.00pm(evening activities)
- Supervised children’s dinner. Children’s dinner orders are taken at 4.30pm
and served at 5.30pm
- Private baby sitting available at a nominal charge, children under 4 will
require this service which can be arranged in advance or on your arrival at
the resort.
- Children’s wading pool with sand and shade sail Cots and high chairs
available on request
- Child age – 12 years & under
- No dining in Treetops restaurant.
