Forsyth Island, New Zealand

The lodge boasts of 232 square metres living space - three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a modern kitchen, dining room, a generous living area with high walls and a roofed veranda, which surrounds practically the whole lodge. The entire interior is completed in wood. Drinking water is available all year round from the islands own well. Here you will be greeted by cuisine from the fruit of the sea, traditional menus to your liking, fruit from the island garden and an excellent selection of the finest New Zealand wines from the well known vineyards of Blenheim. The guests may choose between full board (the caretaker couple prepares breakfast, luch and dinner) or self catering, in which case the caretakers provide the requested provisions. The island has two telephone lines, electricity, a large docking pier, a farmhouse, many sheephouses along with a humble beachhouse. The mail boat delivers post twice a week to the island.
