Florida Keys Island Camping Adventure.
Howell Key welcomes families and private groups to camp on a private island in
the Lower Florida Keys. We are set up for primitive camping. Kayaks, canoe
rentals and tours are available. We have 10 camp sites on a 9-acre island.
Cooking will be with gas or charcoal campstoves. You need to bring everything
you need to camp.
- You can bring your own boats. Transportation is available at no
charge
- Bathrooms are porta potty
- Showers are sunshower
- Water is bottled water
- There is one central campfire pit
- Dive and snorkel trips can be arranged
Daily Rates are $85.00 a day for a two person campsite plus $12.00 per
person, up to 8 people-per campsite. Children under 6 are free - reservations
must be made 10 days in advance.
Weekly rates and group rates are $75.00 a day for a two person campsite plus
$10.00 per person, up to 10 people per campsite. Reservations must be made 15
days in advance.
Group Rates are $50.00 per day, plus $7.00 per person, up to 12 people per
camp site. We welcome church groups and boy scout troops.
Rates to rent the entire island - $600.00 a day and you can bring up to 30
people.
When you rent a camp site for 7 days, you pay for 6 days and get one day
free.
