Republic Island is surrounded by a rich variety of flora and fauna with bald eagles nesting near by. The island is famous for its fishing which includes small and large mouth bass, walleye, perch and trout. If visiting in the winter take advantage of the 2,500 snowmobile trails available in the region or explore the area at a slower place via cross country skiing or snowshoeing.

Explore the waters around the island in the pontoon, canoe, aluminum boat or paddle boat all included as part of your stay.
