Loon Island, on the North shore of Lake Bonaparte in the western foothills of
northern New York State's Adirondacks, is an island of about four acres, just
barely connected to the mainland by an isthmus of sand, which will be your
beach.
Our cottages are available for rent by the week, and occasionally for shorter
periods. Except by special arrangement, guests must supply their own linens and
towels.
Rentals by the week:
Main camp: sleeps 5 in upstairs dorm. Large living room with fireplace,
kitchen, dining area and full front screened porch overlooking lake. Flush
toilet and bath house are outside: $695
The smaller camp has a screened sleeping porch, bed/sitting room, bathroom
with tile shower, and kitchen with dining area. Sleeps three: $595
The two additional sleeping cabins are available only to renters of one of
the larger Loon Island camps. Log cabin on East shore with double bed,
overlooking a small uninhabited island belonging to the owners: $195
Cedar shingle cabin at water's edge with double bed: $195. This was
originally the owner's ice house - now sometimes it is called the "Nice House".
