Tourists may purchase two-month, single-entry visas or two-month, multiple-entry
visas upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and at the
following certain land border points of entry. Tourists may stay in Nepal no
longer than 150 days in any given calendar year.
Health & other risks: Travelers should be aware of the immense air
and water pollution and the random chance of robbery. Trekking in remote areas
can be very hazardous and one should not depend on emergency services such as
evacuations and rescues by helicopter for illness or injuries.
