Aicraft & History The Tiger Moth, first flown in 1931, is the enduring classic light aircraft. Designed by de Haviland at the request of the RAF it became the standard training and pleasure craft in the UK and Australia. Of the 9000 built as a trainer during World War II few are still flying in countries around the world. The one-passenger Tiger Moth is legendary for reliability and for aerobatics, an exciting option for the adventurous.
