The summer tourist boom is well underway & we’re recommending Mykonos as our destination of the month. The Greek Islands really come to life in the summer months, and there are many great islands such as Ios famous for its nightlife & Santorini famous for its natural beauty. We believe at Travelers Digest however that Mykonos has an excellent combination of nightlife, natural beauty, & culture. There are many ways to get to the Greek Islands, most likely you’ll have to go through Athens and then either take a ferry or fly. There are also chartered flights from other European cities, you can also take a ferry to the Greek Islands from the Turkish coast.

Question: We arrive in Sofia airport at 11.20am on 28th August. Please could you let me have travel details for bus or train directly onwards (same day) to Veliko Turnovo. We need no other bookings as we are staying with friends. If you cannot help are you able to give me the correct website for timetables. All the websites I have tried claim to advertise transport but instead promote hotels and trips! Many thanks.
