Question: What is the best month to travel to Bulgaria and Albania? Thanks.
Answer: It really depends what you’re looking for in your trip. I’ve personally visited both of these nations during the Summer & I found it to be extremely pleasant.
Bulgaria has different things for different seasons. The Black Sea coast of Bulgaria is extremely active in the summer while almost completely dead in the winter. Where as the mountains of Bulgaria offer fishing & hiking opportunities in the summer, they offer some of the best skiing in Europe in the winter.
Albania however might pose a challenge to navigate in the winter as many of their trans-national roads are little more than dirt trails.
