Question: Hi, I will be arriving in Alanya in Turkey on the afternoon of Wednesday the 1st of October. My husband and I then need to travel to Marmaris by Thursday in order to link with a tour. Could you please let me know if there is a bus or train service for this connection. Thank you
Answer: Hi Jenny, while there are no train services on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, you should easily be able to find bus transportation to Marmaris. More than likely you will have to go through Antalya 2 hours to the west of Alanya, as it serves as the region’s transportation hub. Buses run regularly from Alanya to Antalya, & from there you should be able to easily find a coach service to Marmaris.
