Do Filipino tourists need visas to visit the Canary Islands?

Question: I am a Filipino citizen and resides in the Philippines, I want to know if there if a tourist visa to visit Canary island for 2 weeks is required, if so, where is the office in the Philippines?


Answer: Unfortunately Filipino citizens do require visas for tourist visits to the Canary Islands. As the Canary Islands are a part of Spain you will need a Schengen visa. The Spanish Embassy in Manila handles the visa requests, I’ve posted their information below:
