Question: I am trying to get information on Jakarta, Indonesia and how its nightlife compares to say Ukraine, Russia, or Sweden? I have heard it is the best in Asia…Can you comment?
Answer: Having been to all of the places mentioned I would say that Jakarta stacks up to the competition and could very well exceed all of the places you mentioned. The clubs are quite amazing in Jakarta and I’m sure you would have a good time. However I can’t say the city is the best in Asia as the continent is packed with some pretty great party cities.
In addition I would like to add that I also love Russia and Sweden. I did not enjoy the Ukraine as much as might be expected but that was due to extraneous circumstances.
