Question: Hi, I’m a Saudi citizen and I want to visit Ukraine for a tour in the end of next month, however, I heard that in order to apply for visa one of the inquires is to get an invitation letter from a travel agency in Ukraine. How can you help in this matter? Best regards,
Answer: Unfortunately that is true. You will need to show a letter of invitation to your local Ukrainian embassy to receive a visa to the nation. Many countries in the Eastern Bloc require such letters, they’re not as hard to come by as you might think. Usually your tour operator or hotel will provide you with the invitations free of charge. Alternatively you can purchase the letters from travel agents located in the Ukraine who will then fax the invitation to your local consulate.
