Answer: Zermatt actually has the longest skiing season in the Alps, so it’s not uncommon for the slopes to be in as good of shape in March as they are in January. The skiing season officially ends in May, so you shouldn’t have a problem with timing.
Getting to Zermatt is quite simple once you arrive in Switzerland. There are two main points of entry to the country, those being Geneva and Zurich. Geneva is slightly closer, but it doesn’t make much of a difference. Both airport are interconnected to the Swiss rail network, and you can board a train directly from the airport to Zermatt from either Geneva or Zurich.
