While Somalia may not be on everyone’s itinerary in light of its fragile political state, there is a region of Somalia that has a stable government and security situation. This area is called Somaliland, a self-declared independent autonomous region, Somaliland is located in the fart northwest of the country and is bordered by Ethiopia and Djibouti. There are many interesting sights to captivate potential tourists and the area is home to the famous Laas Gaal cave paintings. Visitors can get their visas at the Somaliland mission in Addis Ababa.
Destination of the month - March 2010
Destination of the month: Egypt. Egypt is known throughout the world as being an exciting and phenomenal tourist destination, however for much of the year temperatures in the region can deter travellers. This makes March a good time to visit as temperatures rarely break the 100 Degrees Fahrenheit mark (this is still Egypt).
Egypt has several must see locations. Most notably of course are the great Pyramids in Giza along with the sights of Cairo. Another place that should be high on any traveler’s list is Luxor with its captivating Valley of The Kings. Once you’ve had enough of the antiquities you would be wise to check out Egypt’s stunning red sea coast by visiting Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh on the Sinai.

Travel Tips for Tourists Going to Tanzania Provided by Smart Travel and Safaris Africa
(i) Mount KilimanjaroNational Park: The highest mountain in Africa 5895m/19340ft, with its peak covered with snow throughout the year. It is a volcanic mountain and easier mountain for normal people (without technical expert) can climb successful. There are six routes named Marangu, Rongai, Machame, Shira, Umbwe, Londrosi/Lemosho. You can climb through one of the routes to the Summit.
(ii) Serengeti National Park, with the Great Wildebeest Migration, Kopjes (where cats hide there), Great Rivers like Grumeti (where crocodiles survive), and large plain.
(iii) Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro Crater). – NCA: NCA is often called ‘African Eden’ and the ‘Eight Wonder of the Natural World’, Man and Biosphere Reserve.
(iv) Zanzibar spice Island (Unguja and Pemba).
(v) Selous Game Reserve.

Destination of the month - February 2009
Destination of the month: Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania. My choice for destination of the month is Kilimanjaro. Home to Africa’s highest peak, and a large variety of wildlife, the park offers superb opportunities for the nature enthusiast. At the moment the region is in its dry season making this an excellent time for a safari.
