Villa 1, 12,000 sq. foot, five bedroom villa, is a private haven for up to ten guests with additional space for two adults or four children. No detail has been overlooked, no comfort too small, no need too big. The staff of ten includes a manager, three butlers, a chef and assistant, two housekeepers, and two landscapers. Their service is impeccable and it simply surrounds you in anticipation of your every need.

The 12,000 square feet of interiors of Altamer have been designed by June Goldfinger within the dramatic spaces created by her husband, internationally renowned architect Myron Goldfinger. June has a deep understanding and love for his bold use of geometry, which is reflected in her interiors. Her touch is distinguished by her commitment to the notion of excellence and uniqueness, which will be seen in Altamer's interiors.
Altamer guests will find that the furnishings are of the highest quality of which many have been specially commissioned for Altamer.
The villa is fully air-conditioned but also has ceiling fans for those who prefer the natural breezes of Anguilla. While relaxing in any part of the villa you will feel comforted by the interior design that enhances the visual excitement of the furnishings and artwork as it seamlessly complements the magnificent architecture of the structure.

The Formal Dining Room offers views of the beach from the large sliding glass windows. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably.
The Dining Room table is made of thick glass designed to match the color of the Caribbean Sea seen outside Altamer's large windows. Distinctive lighting has been added below the table to create the effect of moonlight on the water.
Silverware has been uniquely designed for Altamer with international influences from Italy, France and Russia. The settings are enhanced by pieces from Faberge during the Tsarist period in Russia and Murano hand-blown gold speckled stemware.

Every detail is exquisite, and, with few exceptions, custom-made for this villa whose soaring walls, columns, angles and curves are played on by the light of the Caribbean Sea and sky. There are myriad subtle touches including a sound system of seven zones, including pool side), ergonomically correct and incredibly comfortable furnishings and lighting which in and of itself is an art.
Dining is an unforgettable culinary experience as Chef Leduc prepares one extraordinary meal followed by another. When not resting or savoring the delicacies of the cuisine and private cellar, there are many choices; tennis on the private court, a workout in the fully equipped fitness center, perhaps a massage on the rooftop, or, it you must work, use of the in-villa office which includes a full computer system and Internet access. Should the steps to the rooftop terrace be more than you wish to undertake, an elevator awaits. Guests coming to Anguilla would arrive at St. Martin and either take the island hopper airline over, or make arrangements by private boat, a 45 minute ride.
