Located in the extreme southern portion of beautiful Puerto Aventuras,
Mexico, this villa has a very private place on the beach where the road
ends at the sea. This house is just 45 minutes south of Cancun and is
more a tropical estate than just a villa. It features a formal courtyard
entry area, magnificent interior, and a large "L" shaped
swimming pool which leads to a very private beach. The quality and
attention to detail both inside and outside this house are immediately
evident. It's obvious a lot of thought, time and money went into its
creation. The furniture and woodwork are handcrafted in mahogany, teak
and wicker. Big padded sofas in the living room and master suite make it
easy to become a couch potato if it weren't for the marvelous pool and
beach. The overall effect is very luxurious and sophisticated but not
too formal or stuffy. This is a place where you can relax in style and
enjoy casual luxury, in a beautiful, tranquil location on the beach. The
views and comfort will make you never want to leave.
The villa has 6 bedrooms (6 queens and 2 twins which can be made up as a king), 7 bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Essentially there are two wings to the house. The living room, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms with private baths are in the south wing, and the dining room, kitchen and 3 more bedrooms with baths are in the north wing. The pool area, patio and gardens separate the two wings and provide a spacious central area for socializing and entertaining. This location on the bay provides a lot of privacy with no neighbors directly south. A jungle buffer separates the property from a smaller villa directly on its north side.
After parking your rental car in the tranquil garden, you will enter a wonderful and expansive courtyard. You will quickly discover that this villa is actually two buildings that wrap partially around the courtyard and pool areas in a modified colonial style. On your left you will find the north wing with a full kitchen/dining room at the front ground level, with sliders opening up to a covered terrace and the pool. Back in side and still on the ground level you will find a small bedroom at the back facing the courtyard. This bedroom has twin beds and attached bathroom with shower. These beds can be put together to form a King should you desire. Upstairs, there are two guest bedrooms each with queen beds and attached bathrooms. One looks out over the roof top and pool/patio area to the ocean not far beyond. The other bedroom has a view of the garden.
The south wing of the villa has an expansive living room complete with TV, VCR, DVD, stereo and lots of area for the guests to lounge. Sliding glass windows on two sides make for a great view and easy access in and out. At the back on the ground level you will find a very large bedroom with courtyard views. Upstairs above this room is another bedroom of equal size with simular views. The gorgeous Master suite is located on this second level at the front. This suite has a private sitting area with couch and TV. It has a slider out to the terrace where the fabulous view and Caribbean breeze is to die for. All the bedrooms in this wing have King beds.
Although the interior spaces of the villa are well appointed and comfortable, this property begs for you to spend your time out of doors. Everywhere you look there is an invitation to sit or lay down and relax. Benches scattered here and there offer you privacy. There are also hammocks hanging in the shade, a large palapa area with teak tables and chairs for outdoor dining, open areas around the pool to lounge, covered terraces near the buildings and a bar-b-que area.
The main portion of Puerto Aventuras is a two minute drive to the north for all your vacation needs. Shopping, restaurants, water sports, Puerto Aventuras' magnificent main beach and 9 hole golf, and much more can easily keep you entertained during daylight hours and into the night. Car rentals, guided land tours to Mayan ruins, cenotes and jungle attractions are all available in Puerto Aventuras.
LOCATION, PRIVACY and COMFORT are what this fabulous Mexican vacation villa will reward you with. Located at the quiet end of Puerto Aventuras nicest and most popular beach, this villa is just far enough away from the action that you won’t be bothered, yet close enough that you will find it convenient to join in should the mood strike you. With the whitest, powdery sand you can imagine, and the bluest most tranquil water the Caribbean has to offer, you simply cannot find a better location. Add to this a secret little bay teeming with exotic fish and a sacred Mayan ruin looking down upon the water, just a short swim and hike down a trail from the villa and you really have found paradise.
Privacy is ensured by not only where the villa is located on the beach, but by the fact that there are two undeveloped lots on each side of the villa that are completely covered in native jungle. Although security is not a concern, the villa is walled and gated with decorative wrought iron entrance ways. Off street parking in a lovely garden area and the contemporary colonial design add to the ‘estate’ feel of the property.
Comfort is assured at Casa Agave. Six bedrooms, each with attached
bathroom and shower, fully air conditioned, fans in every room, large
kitchen with attached dining area, living room, superb pool, and no end
to the gorgeous outdoor areas both covered and open, for the group to
mix or quietly escape from each other.
