Exterior
Description This charming
house is located in the hilltop town of Molyvos. It is a traditional Greek
town with cobbled streets and stone houses. There is a small harbor and
beach. Captains View is located half way up the hill a castle sits at the
top and enjoys a central, accessible location. The bakery and local
grocery store are located a 1-minute walk away. Although it appears small
from the exterior, the house is actually very spacious and bright.
Designed in the style of a classic Greek house, Captains View has many
windows and a balcony with breathtaking views of the harbor and bay.
Although luggage can be dropped off very near to the house, the nearest
parking is a 5-minute walk away. The nearest small town is Kalloni 25 km,
but there are many nearby small villages. The airport and harbor are in
the capital, Mitileni, which is 70 km from Molyvos. The island can be
reach via flights from Athens, or by ferry from Piraeus. Please note
Molyvos requires a good deal of walking. There are many steps to climb.

Interior
Description 100m2 Two
levels. Entrance level The front door leads directly into the kitchen. It
is equipped with a free-standing rangeoven, dishwasher, and microwave.
There is a long dining table for eight people. There is a butchers sink
with wooden work top and duck blue wooden cupboards. To the rear of the
refrigerator there is a small pantry with washing machine. The adjacent
living area has a sofa adorned with old-fashioned Greek pillows. There is
a door leading out to the balcony, which overlooks the entire bay. All
windows are dressed with handmade curtains, edged in lace. The master
bedroom has a four poster iron bed 170 cm x 200 cm and an en suite
bathroom with shower hand held shower head can be attached to the wall.
The second bedroom has a full-size bed 140 cm x 190 cm and a wooden single
bed. This bedroom has only one window and can be dark at certain times of
the day. There is one stone wall with an original peep hole that was
historically used to watch for attackers. There is an en suite bathroom
with spa tub. Returning to the living area, a staircase leads up to the
loft. Loft There are two mattresses on the floor, a TV, and a VCR. There
is no standing room. The amenities include central heating, air
conditioning units in all rooms in bedrooms units are near the ceiling in

washing machine, iron and ironing board, filter-style coffee maker, CD
player, TV, VCR, telephone local and incoming calls only, one housekeeping
