Exterior
Description Located near
the northern tip of the island, this villa features a wrap-around
terracotta tiled terrace with sea views. There is a large built-in seating
area just outside the kitchen for outdoor dining. The swimming pool, built
on a lower level, seems to blend in with the sea and sky. Another roomy
terrace set below the pool offers ample space for sunbathing and relaxing.
There are many lovely, remote beaches within a few minutes drive of Villa
Glossa, as well as old donkey trails and paths to explore throughout the
countryside. The town of Glossa is only a 15-minute walk (3 km) from the
villa. The nearest port is 5 km away, while the nearest beach is 2 km
away. A rental car is recommended.
Interior
Description Two levels.
Lower level: The entrance leads into an open plan kitchen/sitting room.
The kitchen is painted in pretty blues and greens and is equipped with all
modern conveniences. A French door leads to the patio. The dining area is
furnished with a large, round dining table. The sitting room has a
comfortable sofa, floor pillows, country antiques, and kilim rugs. The
windows afford views of the sea and neighboring islands. A staircase leads
to the upper level. Upper level: There are two bedrooms on separate
levels. A second, smaller staircase leads up to the master bedroom. Here,
a trio of French doors open onto two private balconies and a shared
terrace. The balconies are located on opposite sides of the room and offer
spectacular views. Down the hall from the master bedroom, there is a
spacious bathroom with large tub decorated in bright blue tiles. At the
end of the hallway there is a second bedroom furnished with a desk and
bookshelves. This bedroom also has access to the shared terrace. A small
staircase (not recommended for young children) leads up to the sleeping
loft where there are twin beds and a small bathroom with shower. Returning
to the front terrace, there is a third bedroom with a separate entrance.

change, excluding Sundays). Additional amenities for which there is an
extra cost include: additional housekeeping, partial transfers (includes
pick-up at Skiathos airport, transfer to Skiathos port, and ferry tickets
to Skopelos or Alonissos; 30 Euros per person); full transfers (includes
pick-up at Athens airport, transport to Agios Konstantinos port, and boat
tickets to Skopelos or Alonissos); cribs, high chairs, and extra beds.
