A spectacular ranch in the Argentine Patagonia of 110,000 acres bordering Chile and covering leagues of mountains, river ways, hot springs and alpine lakes. Accommodations are world class stone lodge, which gazes down at the river and out over the cliffs and mountains surround in benign mightiness. There is a swimming pool, squash court, polo fields, hot spring and Swedish log sauna on the banks of the river.

Seclusion. Ranquilco is accessible only by small plane or three hour horse ride. This seclusion, its location in a perfect climate zone, promotes an easy, peaceful feeling of uncomplicated yesteryear coupled with a powerful awareness of the magical side of creation.

Equestrian tours to the high Andes. Horse trips to the high country lakes, waterfalls and hot springs are available- live off the land or trade for a goat with the mountain gauchos.

All horse trips include guides (bilingual optional) with first and last nights at the main lodge.

Fishing. Ranquilico has the best fly fishing in the world for monstrous rainbow trout, with days producing forty fish and more, half of them above 2 to 3 pounds are not uncommon.
